Giant Panda

Bamboo Forest

About the Giant Panda

The Giant Panda is a symbol of peace and one of the most beloved animals in the world. Despite their classification as carnivores, their diet consists almost entirely of bamboo, which they eat for up to 14 hours a day.

Our dedicated bamboo forest habitat provides a cool, misty environment that mimics their high-altitude natural homes. You can watch them eat, sleep, and play in a serene, perfectly climate-controlled sanctuary.

Conservation Status: Vulnerable

Thanks to rigorous global conservation efforts, the Giant Panda was recently downgraded from Endangered to Vulnerable. We continue to support captive breeding and bamboo forest restoration to ensure their numbers keep rising.
